Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death
Being as how this blog is about a 3-year-old, I try to keep things around here fun and carefree, usually posting jokes, memes, and stories about our favorite little guy. However, today is a day that I will break that pattern for a very important cause.
Guillermo Fariņas Hernandez has been on a hungry strike since January 31st. That's 56 days without food or water. His cause? Access to the internet. Sounds simple, right? Not in castro's Cuba. This man is close to death for something so seemingly easy as access to the information superhighway, all because KaSStro (As my buddies CB and KillCastro like to call him) denies his people the truth about the world around them.
Support the cause. Help get the word out on the plight of Dr. Fariņas and the rest of the Cuban people. Link. Talk. Email. Write. Tell everyone you know about this. The truth shall set them free.
