My First Day at School

Hi, everybody!
I went to school today. I go to school with my friends Nicole and Julie. I like my school. I had a good day. The teacher read two books, a space one, and a piggy one. I took a nap, and I played in the playground. We sang "twinkle twinkle" and "head, shoulders, knees and toes" and "itsy bitsy spider again". I was put on time out because I didn't listen to my teacher, but today is only my first day. I will learn to listen and be a good boy.

Thank you, chicas. Yes, he was very happy. This morning, he was very excited to go back to school, and walked in like he owned the place. Let's see if he listens a bit better today...

Ahh, school..one more week until my son returns which means I have to do homework with him every night. Not looking forward to it.

The homework they get today (in 1st and 2nd) is murder. Last year, in his 1st grade homework, he was supposed to count the vertices in a 3d parallelogram which of course was drawn on a 2d picture. I had to call my friend the engineer just to explain to me what a vertice was.

Soon 8-9 year old are going to get differential equations HW. Oh the humanity
