Happy Blogiversary (or is it Blogaversary?!), Babalú.
Thank you for proving that the pen is indeed mightier than the sword.
Anyone who knows me knows that my all-time favorite Disney character is Winnie the Pooh. For as long as I can remember, I've loved the silly old bear and his dear friends. So it is with great sadness that I share the following news with those of you who haven't heard yet:
Both Paul Winchell, the voice of Tigger, and John Fiedler, the voice of Piglet, passed away over the weekend.
Though both men had many other memorable roles, they will always be remembered as the cuddly creatures from the Hundred Acre Wood.
Rest in Peace, Mr. Winchell.
Rest in Peace, Mr. Fiedler.
You will remain alive in the hearts of children forever.
The wonderful thing about Tiggers,
Is Tiggers are wonderful things!
Their tops are made out of rubber,
And their bottoms are made out of springs!
They're bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy,
Full of fun, fun, fun!
The most wonderful thing about Tiggers is,
I'm the only one!"
Oh, the wonderful thing about Tiggers is,
Tiggers are wonderful chaps.
They're loaded with vim and vigor.
They love to leap in your lap.
They're jumpy, bumpy, clumpy, thumpy,
Fun! Fun! Fun! Fun! Fun!
But the most wonderful thing about Tiggers is...
III'm the only one!
~Tigger
"What would I do," I said to Pooh,
"if it wasn't for you?"
And Pooh said, "True."

Hi guys!
Sorry mommy and I haven't been around this week. We had a very busy week.
Today we are going to a pool party for my friend Nicole, and mommy is going to a baby party for her friend Annie, who is going to have two baby girls soon.
There's lots of babies around.
People keep asking mommy when she's going to make me a big brother. She's got 7 more classes left to finish school, so pretty soon, I think. Maybe this time next year mommy will have a big belly too!
Well, we are going to get ready for the party now. See you soon!
I love you daddy!

Happy Father's day to all the other daddies out there too!
The Goddess just tagged me.
This is my very first tag, so let's all hope I'm doing this right.
Let's see...5 things I miss from my childhood:
1. Riding on my uncle Val's back underwater at the Hilyard Motel (R.I.P.) in Miami Beach.
2. Spending summer weekends at my grandparents' house, where I'd usually go outside and swing on a hammock all day long.
3. I didnt really enjoy it at the time, but Sundays at my great-grandparents' apartment in Little Havana. My great-grandfather always had the radio on, listening to a baseball game, and my great-grandmother would be in the kitchen with my aunts, or in her rocking chair chatting with family members and friends. This post reminded me of this precious memory.
4. Going to the mall with my Godmother and riding the carousel and playing in the ballpit, before they were a safety hazard.
5. My grandfather having me answer riddles for a quarter each. Sometimes he'd let my sister and I cheat so we'd have enough for ice cream when the truck came by.
Alright, let's pass this on to Maura, Jennifer, Denita, CalTechGirl, and Kelley.
Hi everybody!
We went to Mickey's house. I have gone five times, and I like it a lot!
Here are some pictures:
Cinderella's castle, dressed up for Disneyland's birthday.

Daddy and I were looking at the water near the big train.

Me in my Nemo bed.

Jedi Mickey!!

These are my new friends, The Incredibles!

Mommy, daddy, my friend Nicole and me.

I didn't want to go home, I wanted to see Mickey again. Mommy and daddy say we will go again soon. YAY!
We're going to go visit Mickey now, see you Sunday!
Hi, Everybody! I haven't seen you in a long time! I have been very busy.
The other day we went to my 2 tios' graduation. They finished school. I was tired, and wanted to go home to my bed. But tio Jorge played with me after, and I ran a lot in the big room.
Mommy has a new car for a little while. Blue car has a boo-boo, so we have a new car for now. Mommy likes this new car very much, and wants to keep it, but we have to give it back to Hertz in some days. We are taking the new car to Mickey and Pooh's house on the day I don't go to Pat's house with my friends Nicole, Julie, Gabriel, Alejandra and Daniel. We are going to have a lot of fun at Mickey and Pooh's house.
I went to Tata and Abuela's house at night to see the Heat play. I said, "Let's go heat!", but they did not win. I played with Primo and Mommy, Nina, Daddy, Tata and Abuela saw the game.
Mommy says it's late and I have to go "mi-mi" now, but I want to play. I am going to my room now.
See you soon!
I've always admired Shaquille O'Neal, even more after joined the Heat. His wit and generosity have shined a huge light on this city in the last few months.
This is a tremendous sign of his character.
Thank you, Shaq, your stature does not compare to the size of your heart.

These are my two babies: My son Brandon of course, and my little brother Jorge. Jorge, as well as my husband's younger brother Johan, will be graduating high school this evening at 7 PM.
I'm so proud of them both. It will be a very emotional, very happy event.
Please join me in wishing all members of the Class of 2005 a wonderful future!
May all their dreams come true.
