Thanksgiving blessings

Caltechgirl asks, "What are you thankful for this year?"
I was going to answer in her comments, but didn't want to kill her bandwidth, so here goes:

First of all, my family. There is nothing better than giggling the day away with Brandon. And the hubby's great too...when he's not annoying. LOL
Truthfully, I'm quite thankful for the hubby I have. We may have our disagreements, but I love him dearly. We're stuck with each other for life!

The rest of my family, all the sides--paternal, maternal, stepfamily. Everybody!
Thank you all for being a part of our lives. We love you.

Our friends. We are so lucky to have such wonderful friends, the same group for the last 10+ years. And very fortunate that we've added four new little ones to that group. I hope they are as lucky to have as lasting a friendship as us "adults" have.
And of course, our other friends as well. What a wonderful feeling to know you are surrounded by people who love you.

Our home-the one I have now, and the one we expect to buy soon. We put our place on the market last month and we're looking for a bigger place, for several reasons. I'm thankful we are lucky enough to be able to afford a bigger home.

Our jobs. We may get frustrated and irritated, but we are so lucky to have those jobs. Mine in particular, which has granted me such great opportunities. And Eric's, which he claims aggravates him, but I know he loves it. (or at the very least, likes it.)

And most of all, our health. If we don't have that, we have nothing.

What are you thankful for? Let us know in the comments.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

p.s. I neglected to mention our servicemen and women when I posted this yesterday. Without them, we would not have so much to be thankful for. Thank you all for your selfless fight for our freedom.

Hi guys:

I have so many things to be thankful for as you already know. But I am so thankful that we have a new, healthy beautiful baby girl (Julianne) with us this year in addition to our eldest (Nicole). They light up our lives everyday and everyday we give thanks that we have them & that they are healthy. I am also thankful for my beautiful new nephew. Having them is so great (all three of them). I am also thankful for the beautiful house we have managed to buy this year. With a lot of time and dedication, we are slowly making that house a home in which to raise our family. I am so thankful for the friends that we have. Those that we have had for years and years and those whom we just met, but doesn't diminish how important they are. I am thankful that even though our business has not gone as well as we would have liked this year, I am thankful that we have it and that it does maintain that beautiful new home we have. And last but not least I am thankful for my family. They are few but important, nonetheless. They make me who I am today. Although I cannot be thankful for not having my great-grandmother with me this year, because she past a year ago today, Thanksgiving Day.. I am thankful that I had her for so long and that she had the opportunity of meeting and caring for her great-great grandchildren. I know that she watches them from up above and takes care of them.
But most importantly, other than my children, I am extremly thankful for the husband I have. He is not only an exceptional husband, and father, but most importantly he is my best-friend. He is truly the best gift I could have ever received. I think that song "Butterfly Kisses" says it best...
"With all the stuff that I have done wrong, I must of done something right"...
Because I have a great family, great friends, a great business, a beautiful home, beautiful girls and an incredible husband. Life is sweet.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving
And of course, I can't say Thank You enough to our troops for all that they do.. but most importantly to Ozzie who is in Iraq fighting for our freedom.. Thank you and God Bless!

I am thankful for family and friends, for the ups and downs of everyday life, for the freedom afforded us in this country, and for every moment that I have the chance to just "be".

Thank you Amanda. A late happy "Sangivin" (por decirlo en buen cubano) to you too.

You know me, I'm always late. Sorry, it took me so long to read my emails.

Amanda, knowing the kind of year I've had in 2005, I still have alot to be thankful for. But, I'm going to make it short, because I don't want to cry while I'm typing.

I am thankful to our Lord, who took my mother this year and ended her suffering. Now she's with Him and free of pain. OK that's enough.

I am thankful for my husband who, during this year's trials and tribulations stood by me expressing his love and devotion to me.

I am thankful for my husband's family, who have taken me in (especially this year) as one of their own. They too, have supported me through, what I believe, has been the toughest trial in my life yet.

I am thankful for my friends, few but treasured by me every year. I am thankful for those rekindled friendships.

This year's events have shown me what life is really about. The important things, family, friendships, HEALTH, and the power of LOVE. Very corny, but ultimately, TRUE.

Of course, I would not leave out our troops fighting for our liberty to pursue our dreams. Don't ever take for granted the opportunities afforded to us in this nation. THEY are making it happen and fighting for it to never end.

Thank you, Amanda, for the special "thanks" this year. And, as your friend, I send all my love and wishes for properity, abundance, and continuous joy for 2006 and beyond.

Lots of hugs and kisses.
