Just call me Betty Crocker!

Those of you that know me know that I am not a big fan of the culinary arts.
That being said, I wanted to share with you all what I made tonight, thanks to my friend CalTechGirl and her favorite birthday dessert. I know it looks a bit messy, I'll be working on the asthetics next time.

If it is edible I am more than willing to help you eat it. :-)

It looks great.

Amanda,
Please disregard what the previous poster opined. After all, he is an individual who has been known to imbibe heavily from time to time... killing thousands, probably millions of those little gray cells...
And if the cake tastes good, what does it matter what it looks like?
After all, you won't be looking at it for very long... particularly if it tastes good!
Happy New Year to you and yours!

Thank you, Julio. It did taste quite good, from what I hear. I left the Noche Buena festivities at Man Camp as dessert was being served, but I heard from Mrs. Babalu that the individual was quite taken with the cake. So he shall, ahem, eat his words! ;-)
Happy New Year to you and yours, my friend!
