Not much information is available, but local news is reporting that castro has temporarily passed power to his brother due to illness. Some stations are saying illness, others are saying surgery. Let's see what the morning brings. I'll be here, praying and hoping, and crossing all extremities.

We will be heading to Central Florida to visit Mickey and Friends with a few friends of our own this weekend. And while we're there, we'll be meeting some blogfriends. Looks like we will be hanging out with Rachel and Jim for a bit on Sunday afternoon. YAY! I'm very excited. This our first "blogmeet", as unofficial as it is. I'm not counting all the great bloggers I've met by association through BabaluBlog, because this one's on my own...and you all know who you are, and that I love you regardless!

Hi there. The last two weeks have been a whirlwind of activity around here. My aunt and uncle arrived from New Jersey for a month-long stay. The babysitter's daughter-in-law had a seizure for some unknown reason, and the following week the babysitter's husband had a stroke. Fortunately, my hubby can take Brandon to work with him if necessary, and they are both doing better. My aunt's husband had surgery last Thursday, my older sister's baby shower was this past weekend, and my stepmother had surgery on Monday. Throw into the mix the usual work-cleaning house-laundry-homework-and of course creating a little being inside my body, and I'm surprised I'm still coherent. My next doctor's appointment is Friday afternoon, so I'll give a little update then, but for now, please excuse me while I go off to my much-anticipated date with my bed and pillow.
