Eww, eww, eww!!!!!!

There was a frog in our guest/the boys' bathroom this afternoon. About four or five inches long.
I didn't even find it, a friend was over and was going to use the bathroom when she heard a teeny little splash. She hadn't even used the toilet yet, so it wasn't her. She looked down, and there it was. She walks over to me in the kitchen and very calmly says, "did you know there's a frog in your toilet?". I said, "OMG, No!! Did you know I'm scared of frogs, and don't even want to see it?! Please go close the bathroom door!!" She had already lowered the seat cover. We then left, and I didn't come home till hubby got home from work and attempted to get rid of it. After trying to fish him out with an aquarium net, the frog went back down the hole. He flushed twice, and the frog came back up, but went back down again. My hubby then poured bleach down the toilet and flushed. He did this at least 10 times, he says. I believe him because I bought a 3-quart bottle of bleach yesterday, and it's gone. So is the frog. But do you think he'll be back? Has this happened to anyone else before? I am dreading even going in the bathroom, much less letting Brandon use it. Not to scare him or anything, just because he may not notice the frog and it can come back and jump out of the toilet and be out and about all over my house, and the thought of that is not only gross, but will definitely make me hysterical, and I'll end up in the looney bin.
Any words of frog wisdom are appreciated, since I will probably never use that toilet again.

the frog is probably long deceased.......

Next time use a pot and a pot lid and take the poor frog outside. Then you'll know it's gone for good.

OH NO! POOR FROGGY!

I'm only five or so hours away. You should have called me and told me there was a frog that needed rescuing.

BLEACH! AMANDA! poor froggy. He is no doubt dead as he would have absorbed that bleach through his skin.

This may well be the end of our friendship. :-( Poor froggy.

The bleach was his idea, not mine! I wanted him to catch it and take it to the easement across the street from my house. I hate the things, but I'm not cruel...in fact, a few people told me yesterday to use salt, and I knew I could do that, but that seemed simply evil to me. I didn't want to kill it! =(

I know what you mean about being freaked out. Just because I don't understand being afraid of frogs does not mean I cannot relate it back to the horrid eight-legged creatures.

As a fellow frog-hater, this post gave me the willies.

Urgh...I can't even imagine sitting on the toilet and finding that. My butt cheeks clench at the thought.

Omigod I have laughed this hard for weeks! My kids gave me pollywogs for my birthday one year and I swear I remember the frogs living for years. Fred and Izzie were their names. I never knew where I was going to find them!
