Bedroom furniture for my boys

When I was pregnant, and we were told that it was another boy, the decision to have them share a room was a no-brainer. Not only would sharing strengthen their bond, but I figured it would help me out by restricting the “toys/books/other” mess to one room. So far it’s worked out fine, we’ve encouraged Brandon to do nothing but sleep in his bedroom. There are no toys in there, and he only watches TV in that room at bedtime, and we expect Matty will follow suit. In order to maximize their space, we intend on purchasing bunk beds for them in a couple of years. We expect to keep this arrangement till Brandon hits his teens and Matty is in his ‘tweens, and new bedroom furniture will be a must! I absolutely love this model from Gallery Furniture:

I’ve always liked bunks like these, as opposed to those with the beds parallel to each other. I know that Brandon will get a kick out of climbing up to his bed every night, and the desk on the side is perfect for doing his homework. And I’m all about storage, and those drawers on the side, as well as those bookcases in the rear will be essential in keeping the room neat and organized. Plus, this tone of wood is one of my favorites, not too light and not too dark: the perfect bedroom furniture for our two little boys. I’m definitely going to keep this Houston furniture company in mind when we re-vamp the boys' room.

that's a really nice set up. With the proper application of blankets or sheets, there's a great fort there, too!
