I saw a co-worker chewing gum a little while ago, and I asked her if I could have some. She tells me, "sure, come on over". We walk over to her desk, where she hands me a pack of Big League chewing gum (cherry flavor, of course). I hadn't seen one of these in over a decade, maybe more!!
For those of you that know what I'm talking about, here's a blast from the past:
This is the stickiest freaking gum I have ever seen. My son was chewing it in the Jeep one day blew a bubble and lost it in the wind. It went across the side of the car, just like it was liquid. Have you any idea how hard that was to get off the car? That was the second time we had problems with it. A teammates of CAL's was chewing it while playing baseball. He blew this HUGE bubble and it broke (just like in the movies) He had gum in little splotches all over his hair, eyebrows, eyelashes, and every other inch of his face. The coach had to call time and take him to the bench to try to get him cleaned up.

The part that always stuck with me was the fact that these dudes would get such a huge amount of gum and stuff their faces with it. If that were my pack of gum I'd be like "dude, if you're going to take so much gum, get your own pack!".
