I don't get it

Hubby starts his new job today. We both woke up at 6AM this morning. In the time it took him to shower, shave and get dressed, I prepared Matty's diaper bag, got my lunch ready, woke up Brandon and sat him down for breakfast, made coffee, picked out my clothes and ironed them, brushed my teeth, washed my face and girly parts, and got dressed.
Can someone please explain to me why "they" say that women take forever to get ready, and men are always waiting for us?! I'm sure a man thought that one up!

Brushed your teeth, face, and girly parts? Um... TMI?

You have inspired me.... Tomorrow I am going to keep track of how long it takes my husband to get ready. I know he gets up at 5:30 to 6:00 and still has trouble getting out of the house by 8:30. Now he does check his business stuff and will do some laundry. I will only time him start to finish and not his other duties. Me I am out of bed by 7:30 and ready by 8:00. The three "S's" don't take me long. Sh-it, Shave, and Shower. Ouch that wasn't very lady like was it?

It's because after we are ready, and we've been sitting, waiting for them for 20 minutes or whatever, and when they are finally ready we need to use the bathroom again. What is their reaction? "Why aren't you ever ready in time, I always have to wait for you?"

It definitely takes my DH WAAAAY longer than me. In the morning I get up, use the facilities, brush teeth and hair, add smelly stuff and jewelry, and dress. Then I'm out the door. 10 minutes, tops. I do usually shower/ hairwash/ etc before bed, so that does cut down on my morning time.
