I know I'm going to get sooooo much slack for this, but I don't care.
I saw something about Jordan Knight on Perez Hilton's site, and it got me thinking: I would so go to a New Kids on the Block reunion, if there ever was one. I know there wouldn't be, because Jonathan (my favorite!!) would more than likely not participate, and then it just wouldn't be the same for me. He was the shy one, as you may recall, and I've read in a bunch of different places that he had stage fright and would get panic attacks before and after going on stage. I imagine that's why he's not been seen or heard from much since the band broke up. I read somewhere he became a realtor and still lives in Boston. So I was very surprised when I found this picture in Jordan's myspace account. It seems to be from a recent benefit that Joey Fatone (of NSync fame, for those of you not in the know) put on in Orlando recently. Also pictures is none other than Debbie...er, Deborah Gibson, who I think looks awesome. Anyway, I'd like to know, who was your favorite New Kid, and would you join me in a pitiful attempt to regain my carefree youth and also attend a NKOTB reunion concert?

I was so NOT a New Kids Fan. Debbie Gibson though, was awesome. And I love Joey FatOne.
Posted by: caltechgirl at August 30, 2007 3:24 PMI'm there like a bear (with my Jon shirt on and my giant 5 inch pin)! Perhaps I'll show my true fan status by wrapping myself up in my New Kids on the Block bed sheets....we can make it a toga party!
Posted by: Claudia at August 30, 2007 3:25 PMwow, that picture is at Point Orlando.
I liked Joey (McIntyre, not Fatone). First I liked Jonathan, but I was realistic; Jonathan was too old for me. I stood a much more realistic chance with Joey!

Claud: I knew it! I hope you have more paraphenalia, because I threw mine all away in one of my de-cluttering phases. (yes, I know, bad fan!)
WB: I figured you a Donnie girl. Joey was/is a cutie, though. Good choice. BTW, Jonathan was not really that much older than us. And may I remind you, you married sherlock...
yes, but when I was 12 and 13, five years older than me (Joey) was still an enormous age difference!
Somewhere I think I have earrings, books, and a Joey keychain. I had to buy my stuff in secret and hide it from the parents, so I never had a lot.
Posted by: wRitErsbLock at August 30, 2007 3:37 PMThat is so way after my time. Guess I could ask my kids their thoughts on it though, LOL.
Posted by: Tink at August 30, 2007 5:52 PMNKOTB?!?! As long as you dont come over to my house and run up $300 on 976-New-Kids, knock yourself out.
