You lucky people, three days in a row of EOAS! This next installment includes another Disney trip, Brandon's First New Year's, and his First Birthday! Enjoy!!
Not even three weeks after our first family trip to Disney, we went again! This time we were accompanied by Brandon's best friend Beka and her mommy, daddy and aunt. I think I've mentioned before that her daddy is Eric's best friend, and Brandon's Godfather. Anyway, we had an awesome time, and the kids did too! ;-)
Poor little guy tried and tried to make it through his first New Year's Eve, but he was just too tired. And not for lack of effort on my part. I made sure he took a long nap during the day, but it was to no avail. He fell asleep around 11:30PM, and woke up 45 minutes later, after we attacked him with hugs and kisses for the New Year. See how "happy" he looks in the picture of the three of us? LOL
Our baby boy turned into a toddler 11 days later. I know I've said this before, but I can't believe he's already 4 months shy of 5 years old! Where does the time go?
Elmo was on-hand to help our little guy celebrate his First Birthday, along with our family and friends. At the time, a coworker ran a clown and party company, and Elmo was able to visit for almost the whole span of the party. The kids all took Polaroid pictures with him, which we later gave away as party favors on foamy magnetic picture frames.
I love how these two pages came out. Again, I was very limited with pictures in spite of having taken over 100 shots, so I made due with a select few.
Oh, and I almost forgot: a couple of months before the party, I found a bunch of scrapbooking things of Elmo but never bought them. Murphy's Law dictated that when I'd need them, they wouldn't be available. A certain product line had been discontinued by the time I got around to doing the pages, so I bought whatever Sesame Street things I could find. Now there are new product lines, even cuter than a few years ago. Go figure!
Stay tuned for more over the weekend! We're just about caught up. =D
