In spite of my slow morning, I did actually get some things done today. Besides work-related stuff, I was able to make those phone calls I needed to make, one of which is to one of the local parrishes to set up Matty's Baptism. We have to attend a preparation class in two weeks, and then we can pick the date. I've really slacked on this one. I want to have him Baptized before he turns 1, and I know I'm cutting it real close.
The other call I made was for an appointment for Brandon's very first visit to the dentist. This will take place in about two weeks as well, and I'm a quite anxious about it. I fear that he'll freak out. He normally behaves very well at the pediatrician's office, but this is different. I'm going to start mentally preparing him for the visit, explaining what the dentist is going to look for and what he's going to do. Other than that, all I can do is hope that he doesn't panic. I'd like to hear how you handled it. Did your kid(s) freak out? What did you tell them to ease their worries?
First visit to the Dentist; a real milestone! I was a Dental assistant many years ago... One kid threw up fruit loops on me. :D
Overall, the mothers were more scared than the kids.
Did you guys ever get over to Ikea?
There are not many things that I hate so much that is stresses me out but the dentist is one of those things. The other thing right now is getting a haircut. I know that sounds strange but my last haircut was so bad they had to practically shave it to make it right.
