Last Thursday, my employer held the annual benefits fair. I’d been looking forward to it all month, not just because I can ask questions about the plans available, but I can get a bunch of promotional products from the different companies to take home to Brandon. Each table had at least one thing, ranging from pens to keychains, but my favorite was the sling backpack from the medical insurance carrier. It’s a perfect little bag to have in the car for the boys’ toys. I still have to sort through all the goodies I got last week; they are all still sitting on my kitchen counter in a plastic bag. I’m trying to keep it there as a reminder to go online (from home, so I can discuss with hubby) and make my benefits selections before the deadline next week. So far it’s not working. Maybe reading this blog entry later on tonight will jog my memory.
