SarahK mentioned wanting to see Wicked a couple of days ago. I looked online and discovered that the show is coming to my area next March, and I looked for tickets online. I was hoping to find something reasonably priced, but all I could find were the expensive seats. I wish I'd known when they show was announced, or when they went on sale. I would have probably had better luck with the tickets.
I'm so out of it. Before hubby and I got married and started a family, we'd go to events all the time: concerts, sporting events, comedy clubs. Now we're completely out of the loop. I know that money is part of it, we'd rather use our money on things for the kids or the house than entertainment outings, but we don't even hear about events anymore. I need to sign up for some of those event alerts. At least we'd know about any concerts or shows coming up, and if finances permit and sitters are available, hubby and I can schedule some much-needed "grown-up" time.
