I like all kinds of music, but one of my absolute favorite genres is Freestyle. You might remember me mentioning this kind of music before. There are a lot of great songs, one of them being "Take Me in Your Arms" by Li'l Suzy. Hard to believe, but she was just 12 years old when she recorded that song. Li'l Suzy is all grown up, and is expecting her first baby. She's 28 now, and that's kind of surreal to me. I mean, yes, everyone grows up and moves on, but I still listen to that kind of music, it's still played locally on the radio from time to time. You kind of imagine that the songs and artists are frozen in time. Kind of like running into someone you haven't seen since middle school or high school. You remember them a certain way, and it's a total surprise how they look, what they've done, and where they are in their life.
Oh, yeah, and the killer? I feel old! Those songs were released almost twenty years ago!
