Hard Work and Achy Backs

Hubby’s been working his a** for the last four months, and he’s completely useless to me when he gets home from work. He’s the car wash guy at one of the local hubs of a car rental place, and it’s weekends like this one coming up that really do a number on him. His back aches, his legs ache, his arms ache. Every couple of days I’ll give him a massage, but it’s just not enough. There are days when he’s so busy at work that he hardly has time for lunch. He usually has a day or two off a week, but then I need him to help me run errands, chase the kids, or do things around the house and he simply does not find the time to rest his weary bones. As it is he’s prone to backaches, no thanks to a herniated disc and scoliosis, which he’s suffered from since he was a child (so bad it stunted his growth).
I told him that next time I go over to Walgreens I’ll get him a tube of Freeze It Gel to ease his aching back, shoulders and muscles. Since it can be used up to four times a day, he can take a roll-on tube to work and have it there for the really crazy days.

If we won a year’s supply of Freeze It, it would be a great thing. Not only would it be beneficial to hubby, but I’d benefit from it too. There are days that the baby will wake up early in the morning and in order for us to get some much needed sleep, hubby will bring him to our bed. I end up on the edge of the bed in a semi-fetal position, resulting in lower back pain. Freeze It helps alleviate arthritis pain too, and I know a bunch of people who could try some from my year's-worth supply when they come over to my house.

I appreciate hubby working so hard, but with this constant aching, I'd much rather he take it easy, for his sake and mine.
