A month or two ago, I cancelled my text message option and hubby's wireless internet option from our cell phone. It's cut our wireless bill by just under $15. But, in the last two weeks I've been texted 27 times, and had to reply to 14. That's $6.15. So much for trying to save money!
There are some that can't be avoided, like my friend K who needed me to find out something for her while she was in class, and that was the only way to communicate the information to her, but really? There shouldn't be that many. I didn't have that many when I did have the text package!
good to know, on the off chance I ever feel the need to text you
Posted by: wRitErsbLock at November 12, 2007 11:25 AMWB, I don't mind, it's just that some of those were things that the texter could have called me for rather than texted me. I know I'll have to pay for a few every once in a while, but $6.15 seems a bit steep to me since my plan was to not use it.
