For having had the day off, I sure was busy today! After spending the better part of the day at my grandparents' house, my BFF and I had dinner at Flanigan's with the kids. The kids exchanged presents, and they were all pleased with the results. Brandon got a remote control speedboat, and Matty got the Stretch & Fun Elmo, which is just SO CUTE!! Oh, and dinner was my BFF's treat, so that was cool. ;-)
Then we came home to pick up hubby and went to Target to buy totes for the playroom and a few other essentials. While browsing the aisle of clearance toys, I dropped a box and the corner of it fell directly on the cuticle of my big toe. I was limping all over the rest of the store. Serves me right for tempting myself with bargains...Anyway,after Target we stopped at K's house so the kids could get their Christmas presents. It was supposed to be a quick visit, but we ended up staying for about an hour. Both boys fell asleep in the car on the way home, and are now dreaming, tucked in bed. And that's where I'm headed now. We've got Felipe's baptism to attend tomorrow afternoon, and I've got a few things to do around the house before the ceremony. In other words, another long day ahead. Good night!
