Before, During and After K's Wedding

I took Friday off and spent most of the morning and early afternoon looking for a dress shirt for Matty for my friend K's wedding that evening. No luck, but fortunately I had a white oxford button-down shirt that did the job. Somehow, the two-hour window I designated for us to get ready before leaving for the church was not enough, and we left the house half an hour late. Thankfully, we were actually early; in fact, we were the first ones from the wedding party there. If you know me, you know what a miracle that was!
The good news is that Brandon walked up and down the aisle perfectly. The bad news is that both boys were not on their best behavior. Matty was quite irritable and wanted not only to be carried, but to be carried while I was standing. Brandon would not sit still in the pew. I guess it could have been worse, but I did not enjoy it as much as I hoped to.
Both the ceremony and reception were very emotional and included many memorable moments. Some I was able to document (pics now on flickr), but others were of the "you had to be there" kind. We got home at about 1am, and hubby woke up at 8am this morning to go to work. I hope we'll get to catch up on our sleep tonight...
