I have two new unwrapped toys I wanted to donate to Toys for Tots, but today was the last day for donations. I forgot to take them with me when I did my shopping, and when I called my local Toys R Us around 6pm today, the last pick-up had already happened. I want them to go to needy or sick children directly so I'd prefer not to give them to Goodwill, since they will just end up re-selling them. Does anyone know where I can donate them?

I had been looking for an organization to donate some things to, when I realized TOT had finished up. I called our local CAC and they were delighted even though their "party" was over, they said they could store them for next year. You may also check with any children's hospitals in the area as well.
