Reflecting

This year is over in one day, and here are some of our accomplishments:

- Baby boy #2 was born without the assistance of drugs. Not that I had a choice, but I was braver than I thought!
- I (finally!!) graduated and got promoted once I went back to work.
- Brandon is thriving in pre-school.
- Hubby became a citizen (another "finally!!" is in order).
- I signed up for paid blogging, and it's been quite helpful in keeping our heads above water.
- The baby...too many accomplishments to name. This year has been spectacular, watching our new boy learn and grow.
- Hubby started a job that, while exhausting, holds great promise for the future.
- We're all healthy, with a roof over our head and food in our pantry.
- Repaving our driveway. This is a biggie for us, we're not big on home improvement tasks.

Things not accomplished:
- Instead of paying down our debt, it increased. Circumstances dictated the use of credit cards, but we have already discussed next year's goals and expect to get out of this rut soon. At least I hope so...
- Painting and decorating the playroom
- Installing laminate flooring
- Hubby's dental work
- Enrolling the boys in pre-paid college programs
- Fixing the siding on the house
- Purchase our highly-coveted entertainment center
- Scrap as much as I'd like

Isn't it interesting how just about all the items not accomplished involve money?!
In spite of all those things, I try to remember that it could be worse, and we are rich in so many other ways.
How did you fare this year?

Many accomplishments!! You've much to be proud of for 2007!

I'm not doing one of these lists... I wouldn't come out looking too good. LOL!
