When breathing is no longer involuntary

My best friend’s father recently came home with some bad news. He had already been diagnosed with emphysema, but apparently, it was getting much worse, faster than they thought. Recently, he found himself unable to go into stores and offices because of the smell of the perfume that the women were wearing. He was becoming increasingly sensitive to smells and her mother can’t even wear lotions anymore. They were getting very frustrated because it was really causing him to become reclusive, even in their own home. Her mom was told by the doctors that an inogen one portable oxygen concentrator would really help her father get back to a better quality of life. It was a bit out of her budget, but my friend helped her mom by getting the doctors to speak to the insurance and use medical records to show it was a necessity, and though he can’t run around and do the funky chicken, and at the very least feel comfortable in his own home again.
