I just saw a post on Freecycle that someone wants a laptop computer desk. I don't quite understand what that is. Is not one's lap the "desk"?? Does that actually exist? Isn't that somewhat redundant?
Posted by Amanda at February 14, 2008 1:23 PM | TrackBackMy laptop gets smoking hot if I have it on my lap for more than a half-hour. So I had my husband build me a little table, much like a breakfast-in-bed tray (for which it sometimes doubles) to keep the thing off my legs.
I've also seen laptop lap desks that are a piece of wood on top with a fabric pillow attached to the bottom. The pillow's filled with those Styrofoam beads they use in bean bags.
Either way, it beats sitting there sweating and worrying about third degree burns on your thighs.
