I do need to lose weight. I just came back from my annual physical, and I weight 11 pounds more than I did last time I saw my doctor (December 2005). He says I should be somewhere between 150 and 160, and that means I need to lose minimum 13 pounds.
Other than that, all is well. He wants to keep an eye on my blood pressure since I have a history with preeclampsia, not to mention a family history of hypertension. Nothing to really worry about now, but I'm just under the borderline...We'll see how that goes. I guess if I can eat better and exercise, that will remedy both problems.
Valentine's Day is not the day to decide you're overweight... ;)
I know of what you speak, though, needing to shed a few pounds myself. We can start tomorrow, though, right??
