Why do I say that? Because it seems that I like to do things at the last minute, rushing and stressing to finish before company arrives. I didn't do a damn thing today related to getting this house ready for tomorrow's get-together. Actually, that's not true. I did fold and put away the pile of laundry on the couch, and we went to get beverages and snacks, but I have not cleaned this house or done groceries for other essentials.
On the bright side, we had a lovely time today. At IHOP I ordered The Mayor's breakfast. Brandon and Em split the Who-cakes and Matty and I ate the Green Eggs and Ham. Angie had a huge florentine omelet, and pancakes. She's definitely eating for two! LOL
We got to the movie theater just before the rain started. Matty slept through the entire thing, and the kids LOVE IT, so much so that Brandon already told me to add it to his Christmas wish list! Afterwards we headed to Barnes and Noble and bought the kids their very own copies of "Horton Hears a Who". It was definitely a Horton-themed day!
I'm going to go fill Easter eggs now, then call it a night. Good night!
