Today is my mother's birthday, and I can't think of just the right words to honor her. There are just so many things I want to say. I know it's been hard for her to accept that my father is such a big part of my life, but I can see that she's come to terms with that for the greater good (i.e. my kids). I want to point out that in spite of the many ups and downs, I'm glad she's in a good place right now (even if it doesn't seem like it at times). She's raised three children as best she knew how. There is no handbook, and now that I'm a mother, I have some insight into some of the decisions she had to make for our benefit. These things, and many more, make her one of the strongest, most caring people I know. Thank you mom. We hope you have a wonderful birthday. There's no one who deserves it more.

Thanks, Pam, for the birthday wishes! I'll pass them on. =)
