My employer recently initiated an incentive that sounds quite appealing: effective June 1st, they have the pass for the Metrorail and Metrobus for sale! Employees making below a certain amount will get it for free, and employees making above that certain amount will get a 50% discount off the regular price. I’m definitely signing up for it once Matty starts going to daycare. I’ll not only save money on gas and tolls, but wear and tear on my car. That car has to last us as long as possible, and the less stress we put on her the better.
