When I dropped off Brandon this morning, his teacher pulled me aside and said "I have to tell you a story". I thought, "uh oh, what did he do now?", but she was laughing so I didn't think it could be that bad. She says that yesterday afternoon he took a small chalkboard and wrote the letters H, S, I, and T on it. She asked him what that was, and he said, "Ms. Aida, I can't tell you what it is because it's a bad word. But yesterday when you were not here, ________ (a classmate, I can't recall the name right now) said it, and that's a bad word! You're not supposed to say that!"
What I want to know is...how did he learn to (almost) spell it?!

Posted by: Kikita at May 23, 2008 4:07 PMHe knows because you taught him his letters and sounds well and because he's a smart cookie. Give him one since he didn't say it. A cookie, that is.
