Breathing better

It took six months, but we are finally in a happy place with our monthly bills. (well, it would be a much happier place if we had no bills, but that’s not the case, so we’re making the best of it). June will be the first month where I don’t have to delay payment of some bills in order to pay other, more-pressing ones.
In a couple of months, when Brandon starts public school, we’ll actually see some tangible changes. There will be extra money on hand(!), and we might be able to budget for the boys’ pre-paid college programs. I can scratch those term life insurance policies we wanted to look into from the list because both hubby and I have benefits through our employer. And then, perhaps, we can start with the home improvement items on the list (I'm coveting laminate floors SO BAD!!).

It’s been a slow process, but we’re getting there!
