Relief

For the first time in over six months, our mortgage payment is up to date. We were never late enough that it was reported to the credit bureaus, but we paid past the 15th of the month and were charged late fees and over-the-phone fees. These extra fees were a necessary evil, but they affected our budget and how and when we could pay other bills. I'd stress significantly over all this, and my back acne would flair up. In fact, I have concluded that the rash I had in March was most likely triggered by monetary stress, as that was an unusually stressful month.
Thanks to the stimulus payment, our account is now current. It took some time, and a little help from Uncle Sam, but we've finally adjusted to my getting paid monthly. We've now organized our bills in a way that my check covers the mortgage, our HELOC, and the homeowner association payments, and hubby's weekly checks cover everything else. This means less stressing and worrying, and that's the best acne treatment I can think of. I just really hope we can stick to the plan.

I'm so sorry to hear that you had some trouble but REALLY GLAD to hear you're back on track. Get it? Back? Ugh.

xoxo
