I know it could be worse...

..but man, have I had a lousy week! After all the car drama, and the allergies, I thought the weekend would be trouble-free. I thought wrong. Matty got some sort of bite on his eyelid yesterday while at the sitter's, and it's significantly bigger than yesterday.

He can't open his eye all the way, and though he doesn't seem to be in pain, the growth of it overnight does have me worried. We're headed to his pediatrician in about 45 minutes. So yeah...the bad luck streak continues.

Update: Doctor said to give him 3/4 teaspoon of children's Benadryl for the itching, and put some hydrocortisone on it. The swelling has gone down a bit, and he's still not prone to scratching it. Should see some significant improvement by Monday, she said.
